Anatomy of a Timetable Example

The Timetable Description

timetable sample

This sample timetable called Home-work-school was created with two sections: one section called from home to school and another called from school to home or work.

For this example, “home” is near the corner of Grant & Guelph, “school” is the University of Manitoba, and “work” is at St. Vital Shopping Centre.

Section “from home to school”

This section contains information to get from home to school. There are two routes that can be used, so a group for each of these routes was created. One group is called on the 60-Pembina and another group is called on the 36-Northwest Super Express. Each group contains columns which contain the stops involved in taking that route from home to school.

Section “from school to home or work”

This section contains the information used to get from school to home or to work. Two groups are used to organise the timetable information; back home and to work. Each group contains columns with the stops involved in getting to the destination of home or work.
